Family Day

With Britton travelling, there are some days where we just all need a break. We need some time together to have a mini-vacation from daily life. Our favorite amusement park just down the road is often the perfect place to escape to. Both of our kids love it, and it's a nice break for us. The day we went was the first day we had worn shorts in our city since last summer. Unfortunately, it's turned chilly again since then, but it was a nice break that day and felt like a little vacay.

Caden hopped right on the first ride he saw. I can't wait for him to realize the concept that these things cost money and it doesn't fall off a tree! Until then, we'll enjoy the smiles.

We took Grady on a few rides thinking he'd love it as much as Caden. He seemed pretty bored with everything. Ha.

Caden is just like his daddy and finds a thrill in everything.

Everyone seized the opportunity to take photos of the foreigners and touch their hair.

Don't let the smile fool you. He's only smiling because I'm tickling him. He's not having a bad time. Just doesn't seem amused. This was his first carousel ride up on one of the horses. He hasn't been big enough in the past. Yay for getting bigger!

He's still a cute little boy though.
