Playing Games and The Arcade

Caden has reached an age where he wants to be part of everything. If one of his buddies is running and screaming, you can expect him to be right behind running and screaming. If one of his buddies is picking his/her nose, you will find Caden's finger jammed up his own nose. He's definitely more of a follower and wants to make sure everyone is included in what he's doing. It's truly fascinating to watch a kid's personality develop on its own. Caden especially loves to play games these days. We bought a bowling set at Christmas, and a friend gave us a Sesame Street matching game. Also, my sister gave him an elephant pick-up game. I want to get him twister. I'm pretty sure he'll love that. Needless to say, he loves games. We thought he would really like playing at the arcade at our favorite mall, which also happened to be where Britton and I had our first date here! Some friends went with us, and we had a blast. It was incredibly loud there but still fun. The worst part was leaving because Caden could have stayed a few more hours. Alas, it was bed time.

Before we went to the arcade, we of course had to get some Dairy Queen first. For whatever reason (and I do mean whatever), a freaky looking clown, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, and a freaky giant alien looking thing were going around the mall dancing to Gangnam Style. It was hilarious but the kids were so scared of them. I was a little too. After a little while, Caden wanted to go see them, so we chased them around the mall to watch them dance. I also got a video (see below).
At the arcade. The two kids immediately jumped on the motorbikes. Caden also loved playing basketball (although he was too short to barely get it over the net) and any game that involved hitting or throwing things! Kid looks like he's 16 going on a date. How cute are they?!
P had to have her turn. Caden seemed content riding behind.
This is the game my sister gave Caden for Christmas. You take the slinky elephant and try to pick up one of the round discs with the suction on the bottom of the elephant. Caden gets a little spastic with it but does a pretty good job.

Here's a video of Caden playing games at the arcade with Britton. The last video is of the clown, weird alien, and Micky and Minnie dancing to Gangnam style...so weird.
