M.I.A.

My dad told me today he was sick of looking at dead chickens (see last post), so I figured I would try to start catching you up on our lives the last month or so. Sorry we've been missing so long. We travelled for 2 1/2 weeks for some meetings and a class for Britton. We had a great time but have been exhausted from it. More posts to come about all our travelling adventures. We celebrated Valentine's Day by going to see Journey 2 (in English!). A friend 'watched' Caden while he slept, and we got to go out. Here's some random pictures from the month.

Here's very happy Caden. I cut his hair for the first time. It's already really long again, and I'm going to have to cut it. He fought it tooth and nail. We gave him animal crackers, put on a movie, and Britton tried entertaining him, but he just kept leaning forward and swatting at me as I cut. Despite the fight, I think it turned out pretty well.

We saw Journey 2 in 3D

The concession stand. I got some popcorn. It was sweet, but I was just glad it wasn't some weird flavor like seaweed or something.

Britton got me blueberry and regular cheesecake since I've been missing food from home a lot. I made Britton a note all out of magazine letters and words. That took way longer than I expected it to, but I think he liked it.

I also made some heart-shaped sugar cookies.

So, Caden loves dogs, but he only says the word in the local language. We put 101 dalmations on since he loves dogs, and he kept going up to the screen and saying the word. Of course, he also had to have his car slippers on too.

Here's a short video of Caden at our underground playground walking around. It's been great to take him outside, and he's able to walk around so much. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with him. He looks like the Michelin man :o)
