Waterpark and Going Home

We finally headed home from our vacation after returning to the big city and getting some results for Caden. We also went to a rooftop water park just before heading home. The water park was huge and a lot of fun. We loved our last day with friends. This was just a part of it.
All the slides were fun, and the kids had a blast.
My favorite though was the lazy river. Grady loved it too. He took an awesome nap on me while we floated around the river 6 times!
These boys had an awesome day!
You have to wear swim caps, so I laughed all the time at their thugness.
Wiped out and ready to go home.
Our gorgeous view going back into the city.
Just before the water park, we went back to the hospital for Caden's MRI. Grady and I enjoyed a nice breakfast during the long MRI.
Sweet boy has a hard time going to sleep with the sleepy juice. He ripped his IV out and nearly fell out of the bed from being so loopy. He finally fell asleep for test.
We got results later that day ruling out a tumor and all the scary stuff. We finally found out that he has a swollen aqueduct in his inner ear, which means he has significant hearing loss in his left ear. The good news is that he has complete function in his right ear which poses no problem for his future. Apparently, this defect is more common than many of us think. Our worries were put to rest and now we are able to help Caden better with understanding his impairment. PTL!
We enjoyed our last few hours hanging at the guest house with our friends being superheroes.
Superman away!
Grady being Superman being Iron Man.

Going out one last night on the town!
We all crammed into one apartment our last night since we already overstayed our reservations and there was no room left. So thankful for our friends!
Finally made it home after a long day of travel. We were wiped out to say the least.
Though it wasn't the vacation we thought it would be, we still had a wonderful time with friends and were thankful for the Lord's constant provision. Can't wait to go back!
