More Bliss

Hopefully, when I print all of these posts out it will just be one nice continual flow our lives and not show the 3 month break of time it took me to post! A lot has happened in our family in the last several months that you will soon get to see! Sooooo, let's wrap up our vacay!!

We took one night to go into town and had quite the adventure finding a way to get there. There are no taxi's where we stayed and hardly any cars passing by, which is why we loved this spot, but we had to figure out how to get into town. So, we "rented" a car (and by rent I mean we literally paid someone to use their car!) and headed into town! We took some great shots of the kids while we waited on said car.
I love this boy. So SO much!
Friends shot!
Brothers shot.
Family shot.
We took the guys to a local pizza place for Father's Day then went bowling! Caden loved his first time!
Grady was too little to play but that didn't stop him from having a blast! He did this after every bowl. I especially love when he claps his hands in excitement. Ha!

Our pool time was probably my favorite. So fun. So relaxing. Grady got really great at the art of "floating" with some kicks that could move him around. I love his sweet face when he would move...closed mouth and eyes to avoid the water.
Both boys loved the pool and asked to get in multiple times a day. I didn't object.
Fun with my boys.
The kiddos.

Monkey Island

We didn't do a ton of extra activities while at the beach (do you need to?!), but we did do one fun excursion to Monkey Island. We had heard all kinds of things about this excursion but overall enjoyed it, the beautiful weather, and the awesome boat ride.

That morning I took the boys to breakfast then a walk on the beach. This sweet little swing was too cute to pass up a photo opp. Caden didn't want to get his feet dirty, so he missed out on the pic.
We rented a boat to the island off in the distance.
Ready to go!
Such a beautiful day and nice breezy ride.
Monkey Island, here we come.
The kids loved riding in the front.
I snapped this photo quick as the monkeys charged our boat. Our boat driver had a bag of food for them (which I'm guessing they expect), so they jumped on our boat and basically had us surrounded. I wish I had a video of all the action, but we were told to put everything away because the monkeys will take it. I think all of us parents were freaking out a little more than the kids. The kids didn't seem dazed by it.
Beautiful monkey island. The monkeys left us alone for the most part but if you acted like you were going to throw something at them they would back up. Eek. So, Grady picked up his own weapons for protection. Ha.

Such pretty views.
Monkeys everywhere!
Monkeys of all sizes.
This little guy was quite comfy.
Since he was so comfy, we decided to get a family photo with him.
I tried getting a shot of the mama monkeys with babies hanging on their bellies, but they moved around a lot. Look closely, and you'll see the little babies.
Grady's weapons protection :)
Just chillin out.
Peipei was hot and found a comfy spot.
After seeing the monkeys, we took a big lap around the island before heading back 'home.'
We all loved the scenery and peace.
Just so beautiful.
Yes, please.
My favorite. I really wanted to swim in this water. It looked so clear and pretty.
Loving the sunny ride.
Yes, my legs got burned after sitting like this for 10 minutes!
Pondering life and God's beauty.
We got out of the boat that far out but were only shin deep when we got out.
Walking through the crab holes. A fun adventure.

Blissful days

I dream of days like these. They only come around so often, but I'll take it. This was blissful.

The slide was certainly the main attraction.
For everyone!
All.Day.Long.

I love pool hair.
And pure exhaustion. He climbed in my lap at dinner and went to sleep. Bless.
Our fun ride! This is not the brightest idea to attach this thing to a manual bike, but it got us down the road quicker! Thankfully no one was around, so we had the road to ourselves.
We ate lunch on the beach one day. This place is so quiet and peaceful. No one is around! The scenery is beautiful too. Love this teal boat.
This was our cute little table on the beach.
Grady wanted to walk to the ocean but wasn't too sure about the sand.
Sweet boy.
Of course this is Britton's shirt. And of course I had to take a picture of it!
The guys wanted to play golf one day and it turned into 2 days. Oh goodness. At least they had fun.
While the guys were away, the kids and I played.
Cheetos!!!!
This little girl had a fever most of the week, so I got to hang out with her during the other kids nap time one day.
We ate at this yummy little steak place and liked it so much we went back another night.
Take me back! Such good food!
Me and the sick baby.
The crazy kiddos.
We separated the kids from us. Wonder why?
Dreaming.
